How it works

  1. Open any photo

    Phone shot, DSLR, whatever you shot it on. Refokal works out how far away everything in the frame is. No special camera or depth data needed.

  2. Click to focus

    Click the point that should be sharp, or drag it around. The preview follows live.

  3. Dial in, export

    Set how strong the blur is, touch up by hand if you like, export to PNG, JPEG, WebP or TIFF.

Focus anywhere

Pick the subject that should be sharp — near, far, or anywhere in between. Everything else falls out of focus, like a real lens.

Real-lens bokeh
